Over the last month work has continued well on the design of Temptress. We now have the entire boat modelled and a custom hardware kit designed to complement her lines. The driveline has been installed, a V-drive unit will accommodate an Ilmor V8 up to 365hp. We are also looking into suitable powering options for Diesel. Electric propulsion is also an area we are exploring with the design and we are looking at what might be needed within her structure to accommodate this type of system.

The Enlarged Cockpit Arrangement

Below you can see the new cockpit arrangement. A large open cockpit with bucket seats forward will allow for individual adjustment to suit driver and passenger. The rear bench seats will accommodate up to an additional 4 passengers and provide large storage lockers below. There is further storage below the foredeck and in easily accessible foot lockers.

Customisations

Temptress, whilst custom in her basic form, offers a base from which to further tailor a boat to suit the clients needs. Her cockpit arrangement, hardware packs, upholstery and finish can be reworked to meet a range of different tastes, styles and requirements.

So far we have generated representations of the boat with varnished and painted topsides as well as varnished and upholstered sealing boards. Next we are modelling a wood framed windscreen option that will accommodate a running canvas in order to keep the occupants dry in foul weather.

Temptress is available to purchase as a complete, commission built boat or as an extensive plan set, aimed at advanced to professional level boat builders. Pre cut kits will also be available upon request.
