This prop shaft strut is a design put together between myself and Berryer Design. The plans are for a 10 degree prop shaft strut is designed to fit the Gentleman’s Racer, Rocket MkII in order to give correct shaft angle and position in order to accommodate the transom mounted steering systems.
This boat shaft strut bracket is designed to be cut from plate and welded, or patterned for casting. Therefore making it ideal for fabrication by the serious hobbyist or machine shop, a very viable alternative to expensive off the shelf items.
The prop shaft bracket would also be suitable for other boat designs requiring a 10 degree shaft angle. We are also able to produce plans for struts in a range of sizes and angles. If you would like to check the suitability of this system for your boat then feel free to contact me.
Files come in a .STEP format 3D model, .PDF drawings and .DXF outlines so the prop shaft strut can be made in a range of ways. The files are available for instant download at the checkout. If you think you need the model converted into a different file format then please contact me.
