Again over varnish
I have applied six coats of captains varnish over a teak and Holly boat sole. I Applied an additional coat of Epifanes rubbed effect varnish. Now I would like to darken the finish with a stain. Is it possible to mix the Epifanes stain with another coat of rubbed To better match the color of an adjacent panel? I’ve watched your video on adding a stain to varnish, but don’t know if it can be added to the rubbed effect product. I would very much appreciate your opinion. Thanks very much.

Yes you can mix the Epifanes stain with the Rubbed Effect varnish. Consider it similarly to adding a thinner, you won't need to add a lot, 10% maximum would be my recommendation.
