Engine installation
Has anyone installed diesel or petrol engine in a Temptress boat? It is not clear from the existing 3D model how it will be installed.
The propeller shaft is very long on the 3d model
The coupling location on the recommended ilmor motor will not allow the motor to be placed in this configuration. Also, if the motor is positioned so that the coupling faces the propeller shaft, the exhaust manifolds will be facing the wrong direction.

Take a look at the model now, I have updated it with the correct Ilmor model so you can see the arrangement. The shaft feeds through the gearbox and terminates on the fwd side into the coupling. Please note that the configuration shown in the photos may not match this as Ilmor do not have photographs of every engine configuration.
