Fixing of Frames to the Keel
Quote from Mike on 4th January 2025, 12:05 amQuestion for you Dan, which I thought I would ask here as it will relate to builders of both the Rocket and Playboy builds. I have watched your video's of the frame construction etc for Rocket, but the series concluded before you actually fixed the frames to the keel. Given that these builds are started on the strong back orientating the boat upwards, rather than the more conventional upside down method, how do you envisage securely fixing the frames to the keel, as there is insufficient height to drill and screw the frames from the underside of the keel or would you just glue them and not screw them at all?
