Playboy Mk11 Gentlemans Racer Version
I'm about to start the build on this boat and was wondering if anyone, other than Dan has built the project or something similar. I intend to fully document materials used, costs and time expended. Hoping to also video the various stages as a workbook of how I've gone about things. I intend making some internal changes to the original design to accommodate more seating space and I intend to attempt all of the upholstering myself. I am semi retired, so wish to spend most of my days constructing the boat.

I've just bought plans for playboy, albeit the utility version, and plan to start in earnest in the new year. I imagine the first part of the build will be similar for us both so if you do end up putting together some blog posts or videos I would love to follow along!

Yes I will definitely do that. May even post them here. I am now well under way and have discovered some interesting little traps that you can fall into and have gone about things a little differently, like adding wheels to the strongback, so that I can move it about in my garage, if I need to. My first tip would be to ensure you check everything against the 3D modelling, it will show you everything you need to know, including correct measurements for items that are not listed.
