CNC from China VS Europe
Quote from fbecker971 on 8th April 2026, 7:58 pmHi everybody. I'm a woodworker / Cabinet maker working in Guadeloupe ( French Caribbean Island). In order to expand my activity and improve the quality of my work, i'm planning to purchase a CNC machine (1525 or 1530). I had several contact with Chinese brand like Blue elephant or Nextor, however i found on several forums, reports of issues of compatiblity between Fusion 360 or Vcarve pro and the controllers of thoses CNC. What is your opinion (especially you Dan since you have a blue elephant CNC) ?
In advance Thank's for your replies

In the initial stages you will need to find the right post processor to "speak your machines language" but once this is established you should be fine. Both Fusion and VCarve should be able to talk to near enough any CNC machine with the exception possibly of some very old machines.

Quote from fbecker971 on 28th May 2026, 10:51 pmHi everyone,
I’ve been in contact with the Blue Elephant sales team for several weeks now, and I’m seriously considering buying a 3-axis 2x4m CNC router from them.
At this point, my main hesitation is about the controller. I currently have the choice between an LNC controller and a Syntec MW60 controller, and I’m trying to understand which one would be the most compatible and easiest to work with using Fusion 360 and VCarve.
I’ve read mixed opinions online, but it’s still not very clear to me whether there is a real practical difference between the two in terms of post-processors, workflow stability, ease of setup, and overall reliability.
Do any of you have experience with either of these controllers?
Which one would you personally recommend for a workflow mainly based on Fusion 360 + VCarve?Any feedback or real-world experience would be greatly appreciated.
