To create the assembly boards you will need a 4’ x 8’ bed you may be able to use a 4’ x 4’ if your software Suport’s tiling and you can feed through a full sheet.

An 8x4' bed is really recommended, there are a lot of components that are quite large, bulkheads and large frame components etc. Also all of the jig elements such as stringer jigs are broken down into just under 8' long pieces to fit common stock boards. Cutting these on a smaller machine would require some pretty involved tiling or further jointing of components.
