Chosen to power Temptress.
Our current 7.3m wooden runabout, Temptress, was designed around an Ilmor 5.3L GDI engine. The engine forms a key part of the project, bringing contemporary marine engineering to a boat built using modern wooden construction methods.
It is a useful example of the way we approach engine selection: as an integral part of the boat’s design, performance and long-term ownership experience.

Can you supply an Ilmor engine for my own boat project?
Yes. We can discuss new Ilmor engine supply and suitable powertrain configurations for new builds and other appropriate applications. The final specification depends on your boat and requirements.
Can you service an Ilmor engine that is already installed?
Yes. We offer servicing and maintenance for Ilmor engines. Let us know the engine model, serial number, boat location and work required so we can advise on arrangements.
Do you handle Ilmor warranty repairs?
Yes. We can assist with eligible warranty work and repairs in accordance with Ilmor’s applicable warranty terms and authorisation process. Please contact us before arranging work.
Can I order genuine Ilmor parts through you?
Yes. Send us your engine model and serial number, together with the parts you need if known. We can help identify and source the correct genuine Ilmor components.
