                 Thought I would give you an update as to where I currently am with the build. Hull has been completed, but not as yet painted. I was going to use a water based epoxy undercoat and top coat, but only got as far as the undercoat and ended up having a discussion with a professional large boat builder. He has convinced me that the right way forward would be to glass the hull, transom and sides and then finish with a high gloss top coats.  In order to do this, I needed to purchase a trailer, turn the boat over and sit it on the trailer for finishing the sides and the rails that will finish flush with the eventual deck paneling. For the deck finish I have opted to use the 6mm plywood as per the spec, but on top of that I want to add 3mm-4mm veneer wooden planking with caulking infills, to give the boat that old original look. At present the boat has gone into storage as I have just my property and will be moving this weekend. Have enclosed some pictures of where I am at.
