Marilyn is an all new slipper launch boat plan designed for modern wooden, cold moulded construction. Part of a new line of boat building plans designed by Michel Berryer and kitted by Dan Lee. Our new boat building plans deliver fully configured designs, available to the general public for home building but equally suited for build by a professional boatyard. Marilyn is a modernised hull, set up accordingly for her power range and desired performance. The boat is kitted to be built utilising state of the art CNC technology for creating her framework yet finished to a standard that can only be created by final hand crafting.

She is a 25ft slipper launch, designed for comfortable, peaceful river cruising in a large, open cockpit. This versatile design has been configured to accommodate a number of customisable power options. Diesel power comes from a Betamarine 14hp engine, placed fwd and driven via a shaft. Electric power is set up via a Lynch Marlin motor, placed fwd and driven via a shaft drive. Electric propulsion can also be configured via a Fischer Panda POD which drives a steerable electric motor from the rudder position. If used in conjunction with a bow thruster, which the boat is also configured for, this would give incredible manoeuvrability.

Boat Building Plan Set

The boat building plan set is for a cold moulded version of Marilyn. It contains illustrated documents showing assembly of the parts and detailed instructions for the entire build process. dxf files for all components are pre-nested into sized bounding boxes ready for importing to CAD software for CNC cutting. Two 3D models are included in a .step format detailing the finished boat and a setup model with jigs and the strong back included. Files are supplied in digital format only and are available to download directly at the checkout.
